Q: What should I bring with me?
All you need is your guitar and pick. I'll supply any amplification necessary.
Q: At what time should I arrive?
Out of courtesy to your fellow students, please do not arrive more than 5 minutes early. If you need to beat traffic, you can go to the Starbucks on the northwest corner of Parker & Alma.
Q: What is your payment policy?
It's really simple! We just settle up after each lesson.
Q: Can I pay per month?
If that's the easiest thing for you, it's fine. I certainly don't require it.
Q: What forms of payment do you accept?
Cash or checks are accepted.
Q: What happens if I need to cancel a lesson?
I realize that life happens. For that reason, I ask that you give me at least 24 hours' notice if you will be unable to attend a lesson. Otherwise, I will have to charge half the lesson - $16 - payable the next time I see you.
Q: If these lessons are for my children, may I stay and watch?
Of course! In fact, I prefer it. I will usually try to go over "study aids" with parents so that they can assist their children in practicing at home.
Q: What is your policy on multiple students?
Two students may take lessons at the same time for my $32 rate. Three students will be charged $48. I wouldn't recommend four students try to learn at once - we lose the personalization at that point.
